Ray & Chris Winckles-Fur & Feather - Fur and Feather
Fur & Feather The rabbit display is organised by local fanciers, and co-ordonated by Ray & Chris Winckles and families, who are all involved in judging exhibition rabbits at top level.
There are over fifty breeds of rabbits and they come in a myriad of colours.There is the tiny Netherland Dwarf weighing only one kilo, and up to the Continental Giant weighing in at a mighty 15 kilo, with huge sticking-up ears. There are long coated rabbits with ears that hang down - Cashmere Lops and short-coated rabbits with a coat resembling velvet. Each breed comes in an assortment of wonderful colours. Breeders take the hobby very seriously, but it is very enjoyable.
The Rabbit Club who have organised this show would be pleased to help if you have a desire to keep rabbits or have any queries or questions. Please feel free to ask if you would like some help, or are interested in becoming a fancier.
Cavy Show-Sunday(Chiltern Cavy Club) A Wonderful Opportunity to see the many different varieties of Cavy (better known as the Guinea Pig) Breeds rangiong from the rough coated Abyssinian or the uniquely marked Fox, Dalmatian, Himalayan varieties to the long haired Sheltie and Texel breeds with amny different types and colours in between.
