Burghley House provides the magnificent setting for the Game, Country & Angling Fair, with rolling parkland and picturesque lake adjacent to the impressive Burghley House. Burghley is accustomed to staging major quality events and there is a tremendous opportunity to develop a quality Angling Show within the framework of our existing series of Game & Country Shows.

The Fishing Village has increased since its introduction to our Game & Country Shows and has developed into a large section of the Burghley Game & Country Fair. It's developement includes a number of Professional Demonstrators, Anglers and Organisations, such as the Salmon & Trout Association, the NFA (National Federation of Anglers), Game Angling Instructors, Bob Nudd M.B.E, Micheal Evans, Iain Barr, Carl Hutchinson, David Worsencroft-Dobbs and Chris Ball.

The Show will have two Action packed arenas featuring country sports and pursuits such as Gundog & Sheepdog Displays, Scurry Racing and Heavy Horse Logging.

There will also be a Falconry Village, with four resident falconer's, guest falconer's and an on site Veterinary Nurse. An Indoor Training Arena as well as the Flying Arena will be present along with selected trade stands, club marquees and static displays.

A Craft Marquee, Food Hall, Shopping Arcade and Outdoor Trade Stands offer a selection of goods for all tastes - So Shop Until You Drop!
