In the U.S.A where chainsaw carving events are popular, with many competitions and gatherings running for a number of years with as many as 200 carvers. Living Heritage exceeded all expectations of its American counterparts.

Living Heritages expertise of 20 years Show Organisation and Experience combined with the Chainsaw Competition Knowledge of the UK's leading international, Dennis Heath proved a successful combination.

In 2007 the event has been moved for the first time to Tatton Park, Manchester. It has been introduced to the already successful Tatton Park Country Show, held on August 25th / 26th & 27th, 2007.
