The Suffolk Showground is a multi-purpose venue hosting a variety of events and functions throughout the whole year. These range from wedding receptions to fundraisers to conferences. Our team of staff have a wealth of event planning experience and are on hand throughout your event to ensure that everything runs smoothly.The Showground boasts a total of 250 acres of grassland, 92 acres within security fencing and is easily accessed by the A12 and A14 main routes from London and the Midlands.The 250 acre site of the Suffolk Showground offers a picturesque setting for a combination of outdoor events, whether you want to hold a team building day, entertain clients and employees, organise a charity fundraising event, product launch or sporting activity to name but a few - The Suffolk Showground is the place to be.

Facilities on the Showground may be hired as one package or in part so no matter what size event you want to hold the Suffolk Showground provides the ideal venue with the most choice. As your event grows, the Suffolk Showground offers the space for expansion.

In addition to the indoor facilities that we can provide, other amenities within the perimeter of the security fenced Showground include: extensive car parking, four main show rings surrounded by safety fencing, several smaller rings for events that do not require so much space, livestock walkways, 16 permanent heavy horse stables and a conservation area.

The services to back up these facilities include nine permanent toilet blocks, three of which contain male and female showers, metalled roads and public telephone kiosks. There is a comprehensive network of underground electricity cables terminating in grey junction boxes. The Showground also has mains water, standpipes can be raised at most locations on the Showground (except in car parks).
